The help screen shows you where to tap in order to access the application's various functions.

To calculate a chart, tap the solar date field and enter the solar birth day/time and gender.

Client data can be saved inside the application for quick retrieval. Once you have entered a name and generated the chart, tap the downward pointing arrow to the left of the client name and the chart will be saved. To retrieve the chart, tap the upward pointing arrow to the right of the client name and choose from the list.

The application includes over 300 pages of text, star auspice data, and class notes from Da Yuan Circle / Liu Ming. Tap on the appropriate chart area and the document viewer is displayed. Text from the document viewer can be copy/pasted into a note taking app or your choice so you can generate client-specific document before a consultation.

Progression charts can be generated for any year by choosing "Yearly Progression" from the date entry popup. You can also two-finger swipe the natal chart to see progressions from the current calendar year. Swiping from right to left goes forward by a year, and swiping left-to-right goes backward by a year.

10-Year Progression charts can be generated by choosing "10-Year Progression" from the date entry popup. You can also two-finger swipe the 10-Year Progression chart to see previous and subsequent progressions. Swiping from right to left goes forward to future decade cycles, and swiping left-to-right goes backward to previous decade cycles. The current lunar age is shown in parens next to the chart type.

A PDF image of a chart can be shared, printed, or saved by tapping the "Share" button next to the birth day/time field. You can send the chart PDF as text message or email attachment, print the chart (if you have an AirPrint compatible printer), or save it to another application that supports PDF documents.
