I grew up in Virginia, got an electric guitar at 14, an Apple IIe at 16, an appetite for movement/meditation practices in my 20s, and have been experimenting at the intersection of music, technology, and consciousness ever since.

I have at various times been involved in playing Javanese and Balinese gamelan, making music for dance and bodywork, writing software for tech startups and experimental musical instrument designers, collaborating in the making of interactive installation/performance art, constructing philosophical toys, and building entrainment-based psychoactive electronic objects.

More recently I've become interested in making art incorporating bio-/neuro-feedback technology and influences from the study of Traditional Chinese cosmology/medicine.
